BORN TO RIDE
A motorcycle accident took Ron's leg, but it could not take away his desire to ride again.
His determination and the right equipment got him back on his bike in less than a year. See his amazing story below.
Our blog has real life stories that are sure to inspire and spark hope, no matter your situation.
Our "Moving Forward" community will inspire you with stories and give you helpful information.
Our Process
Make your appointment - This is your first step toward moving forward. Our staff of caring professionals will advise you on all of the necessary paperwork for your initial visit and the entire prosthetic care process.
Consultation - We will listen to your concerns, fears, and future aspirations with the goal of assisting you in moving forward. We want to design a prosthesis to meet those needs. We evaluate the proper prosthesis based on your lifestyle needs. Your contribution in this phase is foundation to our custom design process.
Design - Utilizing the latest technology, such as Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing, and over forty years of experience, the AIM staff will design a custom prosthesis for you to best suit your needs. Meeting your goals is our highest priority.
Fittings - The fitting of your prosthesis may involve several fitting sessions to achieve optimal fit, function and comfort. The cosmetic finishing of your prosthesis will usually follow after you have met all of your functional goals. The AIM staff will educate you in the proper care and use of your prosthesis. They will listen and answer your questions to make sure you are comfortable.
Follow-up - The AIM staff will develop a "custom rehabilitation plan" for you, and they will oversee your training and rehabilitation. They will work with your doctors and therapists to meet your expectations.
